When you add an audio effect, the respective plug-in control panel opens automatically. You can hide the control panels from view. This contributes to a better overview, in case you added a number of plug-ins to your project whose control panels clutter up the screen.

Result
The control panels are hidden and sent to the back of the application. To show them again, select Show Plug-in Windows.
