Copying and Pasting Events between Controller Lanes

You can copy events from a controller lane and paste them onto another controller lane. The controller events must have the same event type.

Procedure

  1. Do one of the following:

    • With the Object Selection or the Range Selection tool, drag to create a selection rectangle that encompasses the events that you want to copy.

    • On the toolbar, activate Auto Select Controllers. In the note display, select the notes whose controllers you want to copy.

    • In the note display, select the notes whose controllers you want to copy, and select Edit > Select > Select Controllers in Note Range to select the controllers within the range of the selected notes.

  2. Press Ctrl/Cmd-C to copy the note/controller events.
  3. Select the controller lane where you want to paste the events, and press Ctrl/Cmd-V.

Result

The controller events are pasted onto the controller lane. Snap is taken into account.
