The Range Selection tool in the Sample Editor toolbar allows you to select a range.
Prerequisite
Snap to Zero Crossing is activated on the toolbar. This option ensures that the start and the end of the selection are always at zero crossings.
Procedure
- On the toolbar, activate the Range Selection tool.
- Click at the position in the waveform display where you want the range to start, and drag to the position where you want the range to end.
- Optional: Perform one of the following actions to resize the selection range:
Drag the left or the right edge of the selection to a new position.
Hold down Shift, and click at a new position.
Result
The selected range is highlighted in the waveform display.
