Procedure
-
Select a MIDI track, and activate monitoring (or record-enable it), so that you can play through the track.
Make sure that the track is properly set up for playback with a suitable MIDI instrument.
- Select Arpache 5 as an insert effect for the track.
- On the plug-in panel, use Step Size to set the arpeggio speed.
- Use Note Length to set the length of the arpeggio notes.
-
Set Key Range to 12.
This makes the notes arpeggiate within an octave.
-
Play a chord on your MIDI instrument.
Now, instead of hearing the chord, you hear the notes of the chord played one by one, in an arpeggio.
-
Try the different arpeggio modes via the Play Mode buttons.
The symbols on the buttons indicate the playback order for the notes.
