The Layer Switching pop-up menu at the top of the window allows you to set up chord variations on the layer display above the keyboard. This works with all three modes and provides up to 8 variations for each assignable key, that is, a maximum of 8 different chords in Global Key mode, 12 x 8 chords in One Octave mode, and 128 x 8 chords in All Keys mode.
The different layers can be triggered by velocity or interval.
Procedure
-
From the Layer Switching pop-up menu choose a mode:
-
Select Velocity or Interval, and use the Add Layer and Remove Layer buttons to specify how many variations you want to use.
-
Select Single if you want to set up only one chord per key.
-
- Enter the chords.
Result
Now you can play the keyboard and trigger the variations according to the selected layer switching mode.
