Prerequisite
Set up the plug-in properly.
How to apply MidiGate depends on whether you are using realtime or recorded MIDI. We assume for the purposes of this manual that you are using recorded audio and play the MIDI in realtime.
Procedure
- If you use realtime MIDI to trigger the plug-in, make sure the MIDI track is selected.
- Start playback.
- If you use realtime MIDI, play a few notes on your keyboard.
Result
The MIDI notes trigger the Gate. The plug-in gates the audio signals.
