Dorico 3.5 or later: HALion Sonic instruments remain silent
Problem
After updating to Cubase 13, playback of some instruments via Halion Sonic in Dorico 3.5 or later is no longer possible. There is no sound output anymore.
Background
The update to Cubase 13 and the installation of the included "HALion Sonic Selection" content leads to a conflict of different content paths between Dorico and Cubase.
Solution
This small tool (< 1 MB) corrects the conflicting paths so that the content can be used by HALion Sonic in Cubase and Dorico again:
