Copying and pasting articulations - Dorico Elements - 6.1

You can copy an existing phrase and paste only its slurs, articulations, and jazz articulations to another phrase, without affecting the pitches of notes.

Procedure

1. In Write mode, make a selection containing the slurs, articulations, and jazz articulations that you want to copy.
2. Copy the selected phrase in any of the following ways:

   • Press Ctrl/Cmd-C.

   • Choose Edit > and thenCopy. You can also choose this option from the context menu.

3. Select the first note to which you want to paste articulations.
4. Choose Edit > and thenPaste Special > and thenPaste Articulations. You can also choose this option from the context menu.

Result

Slurs, articulations, and jazz articulations included in the selection are pasted to notes from the selected note onwards.
