System barlines are vertical lines at the beginning of each system that connect all staves in the system. They are also known as “initial barlines”.
In Dorico Elements, you can hide/show systemic barlines on individual systems and codas. You can also hide/show systemic barlines on single-staff systems, and change whether systemic barlines are normal or double barlines.
