By default, Dorico Elements plays back all holds and pauses. You can include/exclude all holds and pauses project-wide in playback; for example, to hear your music at a consistent speed and without gaps.
Note
Fermatas and caesuras never affect playback in fixed tempo mode.
Procedure
- Press Ctrl/Cmd-Shift-P to open Playback Options.
- In the category list, click Timing.
- In the Pauses section, activate/deactivate Play back pauses.
- Click Apply, then Close.
