You can show either straight or curved apostrophes and quotation marks in individual lyrics.
Prerequisite

The lower zone is shown.

Properties
is selected in the lower zone toolbar. -
If you are in Engrave mode, Graphic Editing
is selected in the Engrave toolbox.
Procedure
- Select the lyrics for which you want to enable/disable smart quotes. You can do this in Write mode and Engrave mode.
- In the Properties panel, activate Smarten quotes in the Lyrics group.
- Activate/Deactivate the corresponding checkbox.
Result
The selected lyrics use smart quotes when the checkbox is activated, and straight quotes when the checkbox is deactivated.
