You can activate/deactivate cycle playback; for example, if you want to try out alternative chords for a specific passage.

Note

You cannot use cycle playback during MIDI recording. This is planned for future versions.

Procedure
  1. Activate/Deactivate cycle playback in any of the following ways:
    • In the mini transport or Transport window, click Cycle .

    • Choose Playand thenCycle.

  2. Start playback.
Result

When cycle playback is activated during playback, the music between the set cycle locators is repeated infinitely.

If you edit the music during a cycle, your changes are played back in the next cycle.

Cycle locators appear purple when cycle playback is activated, and gray when it is deactivated.
