Changing the middle C numbering convention - Dorico Elements - 6.1

You can change the numbering convention used for middle C (MIDI note 60) throughout Dorico Elements, including in the piano roll editor, Keyboard panel, and status bar display. By default, MIDI note 60 is numbered as C4 in Dorico Elements.

Procedure

1. Press Ctrl/Cmd-, to open Preferences.
2. In the category list, click General.
3. In the General section, choose one of the following options for Middle C (note 60):

   • C3

   • C4

   • C5

4. Click Apply, then Close.
