You can hide/show the toolbar in any of the following ways:

Press Ctrl/Cmd-6.

The toolbar contains the following:
- Modes

Selectable workspaces in the project window that represent different phases in the workflow of preparing a score. If the width of the main project window becomes sufficiently small, the mode buttons become a menu.
- Layout selector

Allows you to select other layouts to show in the current tab.
- View

Allows you to hide/show common visual elements, such as the tab bar and system track. Different visual elements are available according to the current mode.
- Hide/Restore Zones

Hides/Shows all open zones.
Hide/Restore Zones when zones are shown 
Hide/Restore Zones when all zones were previously shown but are now all hidden 
- Show Video

Hides/Shows the Video window. Only available when playback is activated and the project contains a video.
- Show Mixer

Hides/Shows the Mixer window.
- Mini transport

Provides quick access to the main transport functions, including Play, Record, and Click.
- Undo

Allows you to undo previous actions.
- Redo
-
Allows you to restore previous actions that were undone using Undo.
- Show Help
-
Shows the contextual help overlay in the project window.
