You can import user settings from exported user setting .zip files, including only specific settings; for example, to transfer your preferred settings between computers.

Procedure
  1. Choose Fileand thenImport User Settings to open the File Explorer/macOS Finder.
  2. Locate and select the user setting .zip file that you want to import.
  3. Click Open to open the Import User Settings dialog.
  4. Activate each type of user setting that you want to import.

    You can also click Import All or Import None at the bottom of the dialog.

  5. Activate/Deactivate Backup existing settings.
  6. Click OK to import the selected user settings and close the dialog.
Result

The selected user settings are imported from the selected user setting .zip file.

If you activated Backup existing settings, Dorico Elements exports an archive .zip file of your previous user settings on the computer.
