Changing the number of blank staves in frames

You can change the number of blank staves shown in individual music frame chains; for example, if you want more blank staves than are shown by default without changing the default staff/spacing in the layout.

Prerequisite

• The lower zone is shown.

• Properties is selected in the lower zone toolbar.

• Frames is selected in the Engrave toolbox.

Procedure

1. In Engrave mode, select at least one music frame in each music frame chain set to show blank staves whose number of blank staves you want to change.
2. In the Properties panel, activate Blank staff count in the Music group.
3. Change the value in the value field.

Result

The number of blank staves shown in all music frames in the selected music frame chains is changed.
