You can change how images fit inside graphics frames; for example, to allow specific images to fill their graphics frames entirely but allow other images to maintain their aspect ratio.

Prerequisite

  • The lower zone is shown.

  • Properties is selected in the lower zone toolbar.

  • Frames Frames button is selected in the Engrave toolbox.

  • If you want to change the image fit in a graphics frame on a page template, you have opened the page template in the page template editor.

Procedure

  1. In Engrave mode, select the graphics frames whose image fit you want to change.
  2. In the Properties panel, activate Fit mode in the Graphic group.
  3. Select one of the following options from the menu:
    • To display whole images with original aspect ratios within their graphics frame boundaries, select Aspect Fit.

    • To stretch images to fill the entire height/width of their graphics frames, select Fill.

    • To display the portion of images at their original size that fits within their graphics frames, select Unscaled.

  4. Optional: If you selected Unscaled, change the portion of the image displayed in the frame in any of the following ways:
    • To move the image to the left, increase the Anchor X value.

    • To move the image to the right, decrease the Anchor X value.

    • To move the image downwards, increase the Anchor Y value.

    • To move the image upwards, decrease the Anchor Y value.
