You can remove page template changes you have assigned to individual pages; for example, if changes to a layout’s casting off mean it no longer needs a custom page template with a shortened music frame on the last page.

Any pages whose page template has been changed are shown with a green marking along their top edge, or along their top and left edges, in the Pages section of the Pages panel.

Prerequisite

The right zone is shown.

Procedure

  1. In Engrave mode, open the layout whose page template changes you want to remove.
  2. Optional: If you want to remove page template changes from individual pages, select those pages in the Pages section of the Pages panel.

You can Shift-click adjacent pages and Ctrl/Cmd-click individual pages.

  3. Remove page template changes in one of the following ways:
    • To remove page template changes from selected pages only, right-click a page and choose Remove Page Template Change(s) from the context menu.

    • To remove page template changes from all pages, right-click in the Pages section of the Pages panel and choose Remove All Page Template Changes from the context menu.

Result

All page template changes are removed from either the selected pages only or from all pages in the layout currently open in the music area. Pages return to using either the First or Default page template, depending on their position in the layout and your per-layout settings.

If you removed page template changes from selected pages only, any other pages with page template changes in the layout are unaffected.
