Changing figured bass bracket styles

You can change whether all bracketed figures and hold/suspension lines project-wide have round or square brackets, independently of each other.

Procedure

1. Press Ctrl/Cmd-Shift-E to open Engraving Options.
2. In the category list, click Figured Bass.
3. In the Design section, choose one of the following options for Bracket style in the Brackets subsection:

   • Round brackets

   • Square brackets

4. Choose one of the following options for Bracket style for hold and suspension lines:

   • Round brackets

   • Square brackets

5. Click Apply, then Close.
