You can change the playback type of individual glissando lines; for example, if you want some glissando lines to play back using white notes instead of chromatic notes. By default, Dorico Pro automatically selects the glissando playback type according to the instrument family.

Prerequisite

  • The lower zone is shown.

  • Properties is selected in the lower zone toolbar.

  • If you are in Engrave mode, Graphic Editing Graphic Editing button is selected in the Engrave toolbox.

Procedure

  1. Select the glissando lines whose playback type you want to change. You can do this in Write mode and Engrave mode.
  2. In the Properties panel, activate Playback type in the Glissando Lines group.
  3. Select one of the following options from the menu:
    • Auto

    • Continuous

    • Chromatic

    • White notes

    • None
