You can change the gap duration of individual caesuras in playback, independently of your project-wide settings. For example, if your music requires some caesuras to have larger gaps than others.

Prerequisite

  • The lower zone is shown.

  • Properties is selected in the lower zone toolbar.

  • If you are in Engrave mode, Graphic Editing Graphic Editing button is selected in the Engrave toolbox.

Procedure

  1. Select the caesuras whose playback gap duration you want to change. You can do this in Write mode and Engrave mode.
  2. In the Properties panel, activate/deactivate Gap duration % in the Holds and Pauses group.
  3. Change the value in the value field.

Result

The gap duration of the selected caesuras in playback is changed.

Tip
  • You can also edit the playback of individual caesuras in the Tempo editor.

  • You can change the default playback gap duration of all caesuras project-wide in Playback Options > Timing > Pauses.
