By default, Dorico Pro plays back all holds and pauses. You can include/exclude all holds and pauses project-wide in playback; for example, to hear your music at a consistent speed and without gaps.

Note

Fermatas and caesuras never affect playback in fixed tempo mode.

Procedure

  1. Press Ctrl/Cmd-Shift-P to open Playback Options.
  2. In the category list, click Timing.
  3. In the Pauses section, activate/deactivate Play back pauses.
  4. Click Apply, then Close.
