You can change whether all lyric extensions project-wide appear as extender lines or with Japanese hyphens at each notehead.
Procedure
- Press Ctrl/Cmd-Shift-E to open Engraving Options.
- In the category list, click Lyrics.
- In the Extender Lines section, activate/deactivate Use Japanese hyphens instead of extender line.
- Click Apply, then Close.
Result
Japanese hyphens are shown at each notehead when the option is activated. Extender lines are shown when the option is deactivated.
