The following table contains examples of what you can enter into the MIDI trigger regions popover to input notes for playback that are not shown in the music.

You can open the MIDI trigger regions popover in Write mode in any of the following ways when either an item is selected or the caret is active:

  • Press Shift-0.

  • In the Notations toolbox, click Popovers Popovers button, then MIDI Trigger Region MIDI Trigger Region button.

  • Select an existing MIDI trigger region and press Return.

  • Choose Write > Create MIDI Trigger Region.

Follows your middle C numbering convention setting.

Tip

This also sets the velocity.

Specify velocity

(0) to (127) after the final note
