You can extend your current selection to adjacent notes and items, including to the start/end of systems and flows.

Procedure

  1. In Write mode, make a selection in the music area.
  2. Extend the selection in any of the following ways:

    • To select adjacent notes/items to the right, press Shift-Right Arrow.

    • To select adjacent notes/items to the left, press Shift-Left Arrow.

    • To select to the end of the bar, press Ctrl/Cmd-Shift-Right Arrow.

    • To select to the start of the bar, press Ctrl/Cmd-Shift-Left Arrow.

    • To select to the end of the system, choose Edit > Select To End Of System.

    • To select to the start of the system, choose Edit > Select To Start Of System.

    • To select to the end of the flow, choose Edit > Select To End Of Flow.

    • To select to the start of the flow, choose Edit > Select To Start Of Flow.
