You can use the time signatures popover to input pick-up bars.

Pick-up bars use the popover structure [time signature],[pick-up]. The number after the comma indicates a fraction/multiple of the rhythmic unit specified by the time signature denominator. For example, 1 indicates a quarter note (crotchet) in 4/4, or an eighth note (quaver) in 6/8.
