Once the tonal and noise components are split, you can use them separately. This allows you to try out different noise components with a tonal sample, edit the components of a sample separately before combining them again, etc. You can also create entirely new sounds from your samples this way.
Prerequisite
You used the Decompose function on several samples, so that you have a variety of different noise and tonal samples to choose from.
Procedure

Navigate to the folder that contains the decomposed samples or filter the view to show only the decomposed samples using the Filter by Sound Component pop-up menu.
You can filter the list to show the tonal component samples, the noise component samples, or all the component samples, that is, noise and tonal, that were created with the Decompose function.
After Completing This Task
When you found the combination that you want to use, you can edit the samples further on the Sample tab, for example.
