Renaming pads is useful if the names of the samples or the MIDI files are either too long or not very intuitive. Furthermore, it allows you to indicate that more than one sample is mapped to a pad, for example.
Procedure
To change the name of a pad, right-click it, select Rename Pad, enter a new name and press Enter.
Note
You can set up different pad names for the individual kit slots if Global mode is not activated for the pattern pads.
