You can modulate the playback speed and formant shift of sample zones.

Prerequisite

The AudioWarp parameters for the sample zone that you want to edit are activated in the Sample Oscillator section.

Procedure

  1. In the modulation row zone below the Sample Oscillator, click Select Modulation Destination.
  2. Select the parameter that you want to modulate: Speed Factor or Formant Shift.
    Note

    The destination Formant Shift can only be used in Solo mode.

  3. Click Add Modulation and select a modulation source from the pop-up menu.
  4. Specify the intensity of the modulation using the Modulation Depth fader.
  5. Optional: Change the polarity of the source.

    Unipolar sources modulate between 0 and +1. Bipolar sources modulate between -1 and +1.

  6. Optional: Click the Source 2 field, and select a modulation modifier.
  7. Optional: Click Edit Source 1/Edit Source 2 to open the curve and range settings, and limit the modulation range or adjust the characteristics of the modulation.
