Creating Views - HALion - 7.5

You can create views to add more editors to a window or to move or copy existing editors to another location within a window.

• To add a new empty view, you can splitting existing views using the Split | and Split -- commands on the View Functions pop-up menu.

  

  To adjust the size of two split views, point the mouse at the divider between them, click, and drag.

  If a view is split into three or more parts, these parts are resized proportionally. To resize an individual part, hold down Ctrl/Cmd and drag.

• To move a view into another view, click the upper left corner of the view or the header of the corresponding tab and drag it onto the target view. To copy the view, hold down Shift while dragging.

  While you drag, an orange border is shown around the area where the view or tab will be added. A slightly thicker border line indicates the exact position where the view will be added: at the right/left side or at the top/bottom of the current view.
