In the Slot Rack, you can see whether a slot is used by MPE, and whether it is used for a master or a member channel.

If a slot in the Slot Rack contains an MPE master channel, the MIDI icon of the slot changes color and is displayed in magenta.

Slots that contain MPE member channels are grayed out and their MIDI icon is also displayed in magenta.
Tip
If the member channel slots are not visible, activate Show Empty Slots
in the title bar
