You can load your own samples or the samples from the factory content into the oscillators.

In the Load panel, open the Samples page, navigate to a sample, and drag it onto the waveform display.

In the Oscillator section, click Sample Functions in the top right of the display and select Load Sample from the pop-up menu.

Drag a sample from the MediaBay of your Steinberg DAW to the waveform display.

Drag one or more selected audio events from a project of your Steinberg DAW to the waveform display.

Drag a slice from the Sample Editor of your Steinberg DAW to the waveform display.

Drag a sample from the File Explorer/macOS Finder to the waveform display.

If you want samples to be available on the sample selector in Padshop, you must import them first.

If Import Sample When Dropping is activated on the Sample Functions pop-up menu, samples are imported when they are loaded.
