Preferences of Cubase and Nuendo
This article lists files in which current versions of Cubase and Nuendo save individual settings and configurations for the program.
The information is generally valid for all program variants. However, some settings listed here may be missing in older and smaller versions.
The folder in which Cubase and Nuendo save the program settings can be found here:
macOS
- Quit all programs.
- Select "Go" from the Finder menu.
- While the menu is folded out, hold down the "option" key and select "Library".
- Within the newly opened "Library" folder, open the "Preferences" folder.
- Locate the folder that is named the same as your Cubase/Nuendo version.
Windows
- Close all programs.
- Press the Windows logo key + R simultaneously to open the "Run" command prompt.
(Windows XP: Select "Run" from the Start menu.) - In the command line of the "Run" window, enter this path: %appdata%/Steinberg
- Locate the folder that is named the same as your Cubase/Nuendo version.
