Preferences of Cubase and Nuendo
This article lists files which are storing program settings or preferences on your system for current Cubase and Nuendo versions. Some files listed here might not be available in all Cubase versions.
The folder in which Cubase and Nuendo preferences are being stored can be found here:
macOS
- Quit all programs.
- Select "Go" from the Finder menu.
- While the menu is folded out, hold down the "option" key and select "Library".
- Within the newly opened "Library" folder, open the "Preferences" folder.
- Locate the folder that is named the same as your Cubase/Nuendo version.
Windows
- Close all programs.
- Press the Windows logo key + R simultaneously to open the 'Run' command prompt.
(Windows XP: Select 'Run' from the Start menu.) - In the command line of the 'Run' window, enter this path: %appdata%/Steinberg
- Locate the folder that is named the same as your Cubase/Nuendo version.
