Remote Controller Support for HALion Sonic / HALion 4

Since HALion Sonic 1.5 / HALion 4.0.0 you can use your Steinberg remote controller with the standalone version.

Below you can find an overview for each controller and the remote controllable functions.

To be able to use Steinberg remote controllers, please make sure the latest updates are installed for your controller and for your HALion VST Instrument! Here you can find downloads for your Steinberg products.

AI Ready LED

Light on = connected

Light flashing = not connected

AI Knob + Lock Standard Function
All Bypass Button Acts as on/off button for AI Knob (when locked)
Jog Button Set the AI Knob to wheel Mode (song location)
Play Button Start playback
Stop Button Stop playback
Home Button Return to Zero (don't stop playing)
Rec Button Start Record
Foot Switch Start Record
Loop Button Loop enable/disable
Read Button Load Midi File
Write Button Save Midi File
Monitor Button Toggle between Metronome mode
Record Ready Toggle between Record mode
Edit Button Open the preference dialog
Value Knob Master Volume
EQ Type ON: 1 turn-fullrange per Knob, OFF: ~3 turns-Fullrange
