VST Connect: How to connect with VST Connect Performer

Log-in with MySteinberg credentials is no longer possible

For security reasons, it is no longer possible to log in to VST Connect with MySteinberg credentials (email address and password) as of Monday, October 6, 2025.

The original connection method via key numbers (LOGIN-ID) described below is and will remain available.

1. Log in to VST Connect

  • Start VST Connect.
  • Enter a name of your choice and either press 'Enter' or click on the 'Share' button.

  • A 10-digit key will be generated.

  • Share the key with the VST Connect Performer user via messenger, SMS, mail, or phone. 

2. Log in to VST Connect Performer

  • The other user starts VST Connect Performer.
  • The performer now enters a name of their choice and the key shared by the other VST Connect user.
  • After entering the name and key, the connection is established either by clicking the icon to the right of the name field or by pressing the “Enter” key.

Please note that the key is valid for one session only. A new session requires a new key.
