You can replace a part of an audio file with a beep sound, to cover up a swear word, for example.
Procedure
-
In the Audio Editor, make a selection.
-
Select the Insert tab.
-
In the Signal section, click Bleep Censor.
-
In the Bleep Censor dialog, specify the desired frequency and level of the bleep censor tone.
-
Optional: Activate Crossfading, and specify the crossfade time.
This creates a crossfade at the start and at the end of the bleep censor region.
-
Click Apply.
