Some positions, such as markers or selection edges, can be set to be magnetic. Dragged elements snap to their positions. This makes it easier to position items accurately.
For example, if you move a marker close to one of the magnetic bounds, the marker snaps to this position. A label is displayed, indicating the snap position.
You can place the cursor at a magnetic position by clicking the timeline and keeping the mouse button pressed. When you now move the cursor, it jumps to the closest magnetic bound.
