A quick way to zoom in or out is to use the arrow keys on your computer keyboard.
Procedure
You have the following options:

To zoom horizontally, press Up Arrow or Down Arrow.

To zoom vertically, hold Shift, and press Up Arrow or Down Arrow.

To zoom vertically to fit the available height, press Ctrl/Cmd-Shift-Up Arrow.

To fully zoom out, press Ctrl/Cmd-Down Arrow.

To fully zoom in, press Ctrl/Cmd-Up Arrow.
